Why FluentCheck exists
FluentCheck began as a small London product studio project with a simple goal: make online language self-assessment calmer, clearer and easier to interpret. The product combines interface design, software engineering and multilingual editorial work around one focused reading experience.
What we build
We design short reading assessments in twenty-nine languages, private result pages and practical PDF records. Every screen states what the assessment measures, how the score is calculated and where a recognised examination is still required.
How we work
Questions, translations and interface behaviour are reviewed as a connected system. We test keyboard access, right-to-left layouts, mobile reading, result recovery and language-specific error states rather than treating translation as a final cosmetic step.
Evidence and editorial standards
The initial reading bank is adapted from the human-translated Belebele benchmark under CC BY-SA 4.0. We do not publish invented accreditations, endorsements or precision claims that a short unsupervised online assessment cannot support.
Accountability
Product, privacy, accessibility and editorial questions are handled at info@fluentcheck.com. We aim to reply within 24 hours and investigate reports with enough context to reproduce the issue while asking users not to send passwords or sensitive identity documents.
