An independent estimate
FluentCheck provides an independent estimate of written reading comprehension based on the questions completed in one unsupervised online attempt. The score and level are orientation tools, not a declaration that a formal proficiency standard has been achieved.
Not an accredited certificate
The result and its PDF record are not an official language certificate, accreditation or regulated qualification. They cannot replace recognised examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL, DELF, DALF, TEF, TCF, Goethe-Zertifikat, JLPT, TOPIK or HSK.
What is not measured
The current assessment does not measure speaking, listening, pronunciation, spontaneous writing, supervised identity or performance under formal examination conditions. Topic familiarity, concentration, device, connection and the selected questions may influence the outcome.
Appropriate use
Use the result for personal orientation, study planning and informal discussion. Do not submit it where a school, employer, immigration authority, licensing body or public institution asks for an accredited or officially recognised qualification.
No guaranteed outcome
A FluentCheck result does not guarantee admission, employment, immigration status, academic credit or performance in another examination. Decisions involving those outcomes should rely on the rules of the organisation making the decision.
